To explore and develop skills which will be helpful in the future. Above all, through the actions and words of the leaders, to create a desire within each girl to commit her life to God. 1st Whiteabbey Girl Guide Company was one of the first companies in Northern Ireland. It was registered 6th April 1925. Our special event will be April 2005 when the company will be 80 years old. During the guiding year we aim to cover a large number of subjects. We work as per the guide framework. During the clear evenings, weather permitting, the company will be doing outside activities. Time of meeting – 7.00 – 8.30 Wednesday
Special events or regular items – We try to end the guide year by having a special weekend away. Last year we stayed at the Irish Girl Guide house, Enniskerry Co. Wicklow. |
