Presbyterian Women

The Presbyterian Women meet on alternate Tuesday evenings at 8pm from September to April. The organisation is for women of all ages and our meetings would have an average attendance of 40.

The role of the PW group is threefold:

i)   To bring together women at congregational level.

ii)  To encourage women to be disciples of Christ.

iii) To highlight the need for: love and unity; obedience to God; Christian living and spiritual maturity; service using gifts, time and money; and local and global mission.

An ongoing project of PW is “Boxes for Malawi”. Donations of medical and educational items are packed into large plastic boxes and shipped to Malawi where both contents and boxes are gratefully received and put to good use.

Our “theme” for the session 2011-2012 is “Under His wings” reminding us of God’s love for us – and how this should make a difference to our lives. “He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge…” Psalm 91:4
