Whiteabbey Presbyterian Church
Whiteabbey is a Congregation within the Presbyterian Church in Ireland - a local
church family of over 1,000 individuals, made up of ordinary people of all ages and backgrounds.
The Congregation was formed way back in 1833, so we have a long history as an integral part of our community.
However, we are certainly not stuck in the past. As a growing congregation within the Presbyterian Church,
our desire is to worship and serve the living God. Through our life and witness we seek to share the Good News
of Jesus Christ in a way that is both faithful to unchanging Christian truth and yet also relevant to an ever
changing world. We have adopted a Congregational Mission Statement to help give us both focus and direction
in our work.
We meet together for worship each Sunday, with our main Service at 11.00am in the morning and a smaller
evening Service 6.30pm. Our Services aim to be a blend of all that is best in traditional and contemporary worship,
with a strong emphasis on the teaching of God's Word.
During the week there is a whole host of activities held on our premises. You can read about these in our diary.
Those who live in our area, or who are visiting for a time, will be very welcome to join us either on a Sunday or at
any of our other weekly events.
If you would like more information about Whiteabbey Presbyterian, or would like to talk with someone about the
Christian faith or other matters, please feel free to contact any of the Ministry Team, (see Contact Us).
